The original lesson asks learners to classify six items: wipes, plastic bottles, rags, sand, small rocks and gravel. The source slides below show both the activity and answer key.

The starting point

I am building training that helps project employees understand why plant equipment is there and how process, electrical work, instrumentation, and controls relate to one another.

Who it serves

Project employees who need process literacy and better coordination context.

My contribution

Learning direction, technical content organization, visual explanations, assessments, and review.

The design decision

A plant overview establishes the sequence. Individual modules then explain a process, introduce equipment and controls, and check understanding. The headworks example asks learners to distinguish screening from grit removal before looking at the explanation.

What this demonstrates

The material includes a plant overview and a 19-slide headworks module with speaker notes and knowledge checks. Three selected headworks slides are included. These materials support learning and coordination; they are not operator certification or approved operating instructions.
